Videos accept no audio/no access to emails

The app was updated 2 days ago & now there'south no audio on any videos within the app. Videos that I've watched previously only fine now accept no audio to them. I have this app on my iPad every bit well & that app hasn't been updated yet & the videos piece of work just fine. Something is wrong with this new update & we can't contact anyone at blackboard direct. We have to become through our university IT section & they are non very educated on the blackboard system & can never offering assistance on whatsoever tech issues. It's very irritating to not have any assistance with this app, blackboard should have a section to back up users with tech issues (which happens a lot). ---------------- Blackboard app doesn't give us admission to our emails so I never come across my received emails until I log into blackboard on a spider web browser when I'm on my estimator (which isn't often). Also, blackboard is NOT very compatible with Apple tree products. No matter which apple product I employ, or whether I'm using the app or accessing blackboard through a spider web browser, the blackboard organisation e'er changes my font size in my discussion postings to a very tiny font. Multiple professors have complained to me about this simply blackboard always changes my font size to like viii or 10 once I striking the submit button. Blackboard has been a disaster & I wish my academy used a different plan!!

The app is very user friendly and easy to navigate. I solely used blackboard on my laptop but had discovered my laptop broke the literal morning I started form, and then I decided to download the app so I wouldn't have to navigate blackboard on my phones browser and could more easily access my teacher's pages. This definitely does the pull a fast one on for that. The only upshot I have is that the due dates tab is not fully authentic, at least for me. I have 3/4 of my classes online, so it actually helps me to but click the "due dates" tap and be able to access each assignment that'south due soon. It may be due to the instructor, I have no idea, but I tin can see where my grades would become horrid after missing a few assignments every week. This was my first week of class and there were about 3 assignments that weren't displayed, but I was aware of because of a syllabus or class discussion. Delight make certain you're paying attention and don't rely solely on the app for that!! Otherwise, you may discover yourself in a rut of 0 in the grade book. Aside from that, the app completely simplifies my experience with blackboard and I can't believe I went 3 semesters without information technology.

I am giving this app a one-star review because even though the app is useful in many ways, there's nonetheless a lot that can be worked on or fixed. One of the almost annoying things almost this app (and anybody agrees with me on this) is the fact that you take to proceed logging in every single time I open up and try to access the app, which is nigh vii-viii times a day. This is then inconvenient because as a student I do non want to keep logging in and entering all my data when I'1000 trying to do homework, report, and await at my grades. I take tested it out and I've found out that if I close the app and open information technology back up about ten-xv minutes later on I find myself logged out. I have as well asked around and I am not the only one who has to bargain with and every single person can hold with me nigh the fact that it is, indeed, annoying. This is an consequence that needs to exist fixed considering its inconvenience is tremendous. Another characteristic that could be worked on is the design of the app itself. I believe that it does not get well with current apps that are in the market. Its blueprint is still blocky and the transitions betwixt sections are grotesque. I believe more friendly, rounded and somewhat colorful sections inside the app will help its aesthetic design.

**UPDATE: The app was working swell until the second solar day of school this semester. It stopped working completely and after two days I deleted the app and re-downloaded information technology. At present it is telling me my schoolhouse is non fifty-fifty on the list so I am unable to fifty-fifty login. When it works, it works swell. Oftentimes times, information technology does not work at all! :( wish the developer would only fix information technology and leave it alone! UPDATE: blackboard has stock-still the issue and the app is working great once more so I revised my review to four stars! I would have gave them v but it did accept over three weeks to ready the issue and I was unable to login during that fourth dimension! Oh my, there seems to be an issue on our side. After I put my login information in it redirects me to the statement in a higher place wearing it says there's an issue. I reported it to the developer who then told me to contact my general IT helpdesk at school. The school has now put a ticket in with the problem. It's yet not working after three weeks and I have been unable to use the app at all. When I first started using this app, information technology was neat. I could mail my discussions, assignments and have quizzes on here. Just I now have been unable to access the app at all for 3 weeks. Please prepare this upshot and I will update my rating.
